On Thursday, February 8th at 4:00 pm, the Mayor and Town Council of the new Town of Keystone were sworn in, officially launching Keystone as the newest town in Colorado. The ceremony was followed by a reception at the The Keystone Center which will serve as the Keystone Town Hall. |

Incorporation Organizations General Info about Keystone Incorporation Weekly Topic Updates | Mayor and Town Council Election Election Day - January 30, 2024 Ballots Mailed - January 8, 2024 Candidate Forum - January 11, 2024 | It's Time to Vote Election Day - Tuesday, January 30th Ballots for the Mayoral and Town Council election were mailed to eligible voters on January 8th. All ballots must be received by 7:00 pm on Tuesday, January 30th. As in past Keystone elections, ballots may be returned by mail or turned in at the Keystone Center (see below). If ballots are returned by U.S. Mail, they must be received by 7:00 pm on Tuesday, January 30th. Being postmarked by January 30th does NOT count as being on time. If you are eligible to vote and did not receive a ballot, or lost your ballot, you can get a replacement ballot at the Voter Support Center during the hours listed below. Meet the Candidates A Candidate Forum was held on January 11th and provided an opportunity for the public to hear from the Mayoral and Town Council candidates and to ask them questions. Keystone Home Rule Charter Passes On September 26th the Keystone Home Rule Charter passes with 83.2% voting in favor of the proposed Charter. Charter Commission Approves Proposed Charter On June 28th the Charter Commission approved the proposed Keystone Home Rule Charter in a 9-0 vote.
